Vision
We believe that, in Jesus Christ, God has created an unlikely family out of groups that were once alienated from each other: people of all genders, all ethnic backgrounds, all social classes, and all national origins are now together Under One Roof in the household of God. All peoples are welcome in this new family and our work should be a reflection of the reality that we are no longer foreigners to each other.
Mission
The mission of Under One Roof is to comfort and equip the underprivileged within the community of our circle of influence, and to partner with like-minded organizations seeking to participate in the household of God, whose cornerstone is Jesus Christ. In our context, this means:
Welcome| Extend hospitality to vulnerable peoples across every societal boundary: widows, orphans, immigrants, refugees, the poor, and seekers of asylum.
Work| Serve our neighbor through our work according to God’s economy, which includes using material resources in unconventional ways.
